On 24th August Westminster City Council hosted a special event to celebrate the launch of Silver Sunday 2023. 

Sixty Westminster residents were invited for afternoon tea in the Lord Mayor's Parlour at Westminster City Hall. The Lord Mayor of Westminster, Cllr Patricia McAllister, and Cllr Judith Southern, Westminster Older Persons Champion joined guests and shared copies of the Silver Sunday issue of Westminster Plus magazine. 

Guests also enjoyed a sing-along with Vivien Conacher from Songhaven, who provide dementia-friendly live concerts across London.
